Piano Lounge

PROJECT OVERVIEW

In 2023, I designed the Piano Lounge of a former casino, which was transformed into a space for art and expression as part of the temporary urban art museum “Game Over” before the building was demolished. The exhibition “Game Over” (GO!) was a temporary urban art and NFT museum organized by the collective „Die Dixons“ at Nollendorfplatz 6 in Berlin-Schöneberg. In the former gaming hall, over 100 artists presented immersive art, graffiti, VR, and street art across 2,500 square meters.

For this project, I adapted my motifs to the elegant atmosphere of the space, which evoked the style of the 1920s. The walls featured dancing couples, saxophone players, and various references to Berlin that could be discovered throughout the room. The result was a holistic spatial experience appealing to different generations.

I deliberately chose a black-and-white palette, as it integrated harmoniously with the existing interior and allowed the intervention to feel subtle and immersive rather than dominant.
