At the center stands a whale, functioning as a symbolic bridge between nature and humanity. It connects the sea, waves, and tropical vegetation with human living spaces, architecture, and cultural elements .
The imagery brings together impressions from my journey. Landscape forms, everyday observations, local structures, and ornamental details flow into a cohesive, narrative composition. The whale carries these elements like a connecting vessel, making visible that human spaces are always part of a larger ecological and cultural context.
The work translates a specific place and its atmosphere into a universally readable visual language. It reflects my approach of using symbolic forms and a reduced color palette to reveal complex relationships between nature, culture, and community.
